•Fort Desoto Edition

So my family and I took a trip down to Ft. Desoto. This was such an amazing

place to see. The beach is beautiful. The Fort is unique and beautiful also.

We walked the beach. Collected seashells. We also walked the pier to see if

the fisherman were having any luck. Unluckily no one was catching

anything except the birds picking off the fishermen’s bait as they turned their

heads.

along the point.

My son searched

by the water and

found a few

hermit crabs.

There were plenty of

canons but no canon

balls so Steve used

Kevin.

The guys were

misbehaving so I had to

throw them in jail.

But I couldn’t keep them

contained for long.

It is crazy to think people were really

thrown into these dungeons to live.

It was cold, dark and creepy.

But I made use of it by hiding

in the dark to scare Kevin.

He is always trying to

scare me so I got

him back.

Overall this was a

great day trip

and we look forward

to our next visit

to this beautiful place.
