Linking our research investigation to our production

A grade criteria The candidate has used their research investigation findings to inform, inspire and design their production in a sophisticated manner. In your evaluation you must be able to clearly justify how your images/text adhere or subvert your research investigation findings.

1) What genre is the poster advertising? 2) List two signifiers that have been encoded into the ooster that enable the audience to decode and classify the text, thus gain the preferred reading?

Imagine a student has created this poster in response to their research investigation question. “Has the crime genre evolved from traditional genre conventions?” The poster uses a tagline. 3) How does the tagline act as a signifier that allows the audience to decode the students findings concerning adhering or subverting traditional narrative themes of the crime genre?

Again, imagine this is a students production and the their research investigation question was; “Has the crime genre evolved from traditional genre conventions?” 4) What were the students findings concerning gender representation?

5) How has the student used post production techniques and font to help connote the types of narrative themes involved in True Detective?
