Life is simple - it is we who
complicate it. How true is this statement? Even if alone, is our simple? Is it that always somebody else is responsible for our peace of mind? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Our mind is continuously at work an always keeps thinking. But the amount of stress is dependent on what we are thinking. The question is, how to bring more peace of mind into our life, and more importantly, how to experience it in times of difficulties and ordeals. There are some ways to get rid of stress. The following are some of the ways. Keep trying.
1. Create The Life You Always Wanted With This Powerful Visualization.
2. Introspect on a daily basis how you have conducted yourself during the day.
3. Devote at least 10 minutes to yourself every day.
4. Take responsibility. After introspecting be accountable for your own actions (good or bad).
5. Own up. If you have done something which has made
you feel stupid, be strong go ahead and say sorry, be it a person an animal or an inanimate object.(it helps)
6. Cease from committing the error again. Next time when you are about to err, you will be reminded of how you felt before you asked for forgiveness and you will automatically refrain from doing it.
7. Try to be generous whenever
you can afford to give without
asking for anything in return.
It always does come back
tenfold.
8. Try not to do things on a daily
basis which would make you
feel bad - love yourself
instead. This is the main
mantra because it's very
simple - if you love yourself,
then you will try to do
everything right, which will in
turn simplify your life because
you are doing things right.
And since everything is going
right, you have no worry and
no stress. And you have peace
of mind. It's that simple
9. Always remember your
Mother, Father's and God's
love toward you.
10. Don't take everything too
personally. A certain degree of
emotional and mental
detachment is very helpful.
11. Meditation is not everyone's
cup of tea, but if you have the
time, and are willing to try it,
even just a few minutes a day
will make a difference in your
life. You will become more
peaceful, relaxed and happy.
Inner peace eventually, leads to external peace. By creating peace in your inner world, in your mind, you bring it into your external world, and into other people's lives. Peace of mind is a state of mental and emotional calmness, with no worries, fears or stress. In this state, the mind is quiet, and you experience a sense of happiness and freedom.

The other side of the wall Author- Randy Reynolds
There was a young woman who took great pride in the growth and care of the flowers in her flower garden. She had been raised by her grandmother who taught her to love and care for flowers as she herself had done. So, like her grandmother, her flower garden was second to none.
One day while looking through a flower catalogue she often ordered from, a picture of a plant immediately caught her eye. She had never seen blooms on a flower like that before. “I have to have it,” she said to herself, and she immediately ordered it.
When it arrived, she already had a place prepared to plant it. She planted it at the base of a stone wall at the back of her yard. It grew vigorously, with beautiful green leaves all over it, but there were no blooms. Day after day she continued to cultivate it, water it, feed it, and she even talked to it attempting to coax it to bloom. But, it was to no avail.
One morning weeks later, as she stood before the vine, she contemplated how disappointed she was that her plant had not bloomed. She was giving considerable thought to cutting it down and planting something else in its place.
It was at this point that her invalid neighbor, whose lot joined hers, called over to her. “Thank you so much! You can’t imagine how much I have enjoyed the blooms of that vine you planted.” The young woman walked through the gate into her neighbor’s yard, and sure enough, she saw that on the other side of the wall the vine was filled with blooms.
There were indeed the most beautiful blooms she had ever seen. The vine had crept through the crevices and it had not flowered on her side of the fence, it had flowered luxuriantly on the other side.
Just because you cannot see the good result of your labour does not mean that it bore no fruit.

When you don’t give up, you go up.
Nothing wrong turned out to be right in the long run. The very fact that so
many failures have finally turned into success implies that failures are not
wrong. So, don’t be ashamed of your failures. There is no sunrise without
sunset, there is no life without death, there is no success without failures. God’s delays are not God’s denials. Success delays failures and failures
delay success. Failure is a parenthesis inside which success hides and history
makers dig them out through relentless striving. If I haven’t given up, then I haven’t failed. When you
don’t give up, you go up.
There is no Midas touch.
In a world of progress, there is no Midas touch. There is no such
person as ‘he got it right all the time’. Nobody succeeds all the
time. Nobody is destined to remain a failure either. Neither
failure is final nor success is permanent. Today’s success and today’s failures are just another
step in the long journey of life. Life is a game. If you play this game long enough, you will make it. Don’t quit midway. Play to the
end. Play is long enough. Eventually, you will cross the
finishing line.
