FIELD TRIP

A visit to a place ( such as museum or zoo) that is make by students to learn about something.

Community resources

A community resource is anything that has the potential to improve the quality of life in a community, resources include organizations ,places, services, businesses and individuals.

FIELD TRIPHave you gone through a field trip? What do you suggest to improve a failed field trip?

Planning a field trip involves 3 steps:

Taking the field trip itself.Field Preliminary planning by the teacher and the students.

trip should have proper safety and security.

Preliminary planning for a field trip

1. Make a preliminary contacts.2. Make final arrangements with the school

principal ,time , schedule, transportation arrangement and permission slip from the parents.

3. Make a preliminary meeting to the teacher and to the parents especially to the students.

4. Prepare preliminary equipments and materials to use for field trip.

DISADVANTAGES OF FIELD TRIPS

It is costly. It involves logistics. It is extravagant with time. Contain an elements of uncertainty.

ADVANTAGES OF FIELD TRIPS

It can help the students to become eager learner and holistic individual.

It develops their social aspects/social interaction.

It enhance their capability to do work.It can bring a lot of realizations and

experiences.

COMMUNITY RESOURCES These can be persons and places in the

community. Parents and students can be speakers in

their field expertise. A vet-doctor may be invited to talk to the

children on how to care animals. Teacher may discuss the different

strategies on how to be a good individuals.

COMMUNITY RESOURCES

A government personnel maybe invited to talk to the students on how they execute the rules and regulations to the society.

A scientist maybe ask on how to make a procedures in terms of experimenting something.

This persons have a big contribution to our society.
