What to expect as a volunteer?

Setup TeamFriday 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM - 8:30 AM

• Install booth partitions• Set up tables and chairs• Signage• Flags (Bunting)• Deploy trashcans• Barricades• Help Makers

Event TeamSaturday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

• Ticket Sales• Information• Cleaning / Trash Cans• Security• Parking Guidance• Help Makers

Teardown TeamSaturday 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

• Undo all of the setup team stuff• Cleaning• Help Makers

What to expect as a Maker?

• 10‘x10’ or 10‘x8’ booth• 2 chairs and a 6’x3’ table or a

5’ round table• Backdrop• Internet and power if you

asked for it• Your very own sign

Do’s

• Bring signage with your branding and didactic information about your display

• Be prepared to teach people about how you made your stuff

• Have something hands on for people to touch and play around with

• Collect contact info and pass out promotional materials if you want

Do Not’s

• Scratch, ding or dirty the gym floor in any way. Bring a tarp if you think you might need one.

• Attach things to the walls - only the backdrop• Tear down your booth early: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

please• Have anything not ‘family friendly’ on display at your

booth• Let attendees try to do anything stupid that might

hurt them

• There is no Try• Only Do or Do Not
