Resumen,

El artículo pretende realizar wi acercamiento a las principales explicaciones sobre la perduración

y sustitución del Horno sapiens neanderthalensis por el Horno sapiens sapiens en el Centro y

Sur de la Península· Ibérica. Abordaremos las propuestas llevadas a cabo por el Historicismo

Cµltural y por la Arqueología Procesual, desde wia visión materialista.
