Kristine M. Nelson

This is a glimse of the 3,000 square foot

store that I designed, constructed

and merchandised from scratch.

Before… After…

I had this wall built to utilize

the selling space in front of

our large windows.

The back side is painted to serve

as a backdrop for our window

displays.

I used paint color to create a seperation of the stores.

Women’s store Children’s store

Along with different flooring and racks…

All while they share a counter.

To create different atmospheres.

Our Grand OpeningJanuary 31, 2009

Since our racks weren’t as full as I wanted them, I chose to

merchandise the clothing by color.

Business took off and, just 3-months

later, they filled up!

and used them as jewelry

displays!

I picked up these frames

at a thrift store.

Cleaned and

spraypainted

them…

Added hooks or screening…

Back to School window display…

Lockers and doodled notebook

paper made out of

foam core

I made the Crayons out of spraypainted

mailing tubes, electrical tape and

cone shaped styrofoam.

I sewed these

leaves onto vinyl

screen to give the

impression they

are falling.

I spraypainted

these shirts

with stencils I

made.

Creativity on a budget…

In-Store displays I’ve done…

Thank you for taking the time to look at this, I

hope you enjoyed it!
