A special thanks to those who braved the ice and cold weather to attend the service. Keep us in your prayers.” The card is on the bulletin board in the Education Building.
Announcements
Heck-Jones Offering - This is the last Sunday to make your donation for the Heck-Jones Offering. The Heck-Jones Offering is the primary source of funding for the programs, projects, and ministries of WMU NC. KBC Spring Bazaar - The date for the big event is set for Saturday, May 16th, so mark your calendars. Lots of items are needed for the silent and live auction and now is the time to be looking and asking for donations. This committee needs everyone collecting/donating items for it to succeed. If you have received donated items for the auction or are making a donation, please contact Lois McCoy to let her know. KBC Spring Bazaar Planning Meeting - Monday, February 23rd at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Deacon’s Meeting - Monday, March 2nd at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, March 5th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Church Council Meeting - Monday, March 9th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. The Spring Senior Adult Rally is Tuesday, March 24th at Central Baptist Church, 11109 Poole Rd., Wendell. Registration begins at 9:00 am and the program begins at 9:30 am. The guest speaker will be Bryan Mims, general assignment reporter for WRAL-TV & writer for Our State magazine. Other guests will be the Damascus Ridge, a bluegrass gospel band based in NC with a goal to spread the word of Christ through song into the hearts of many. The cost is $12.00. If you would like to go, please get your payment into the office no later than Sunday, March 8th. Please make checks payable to the Raleigh Baptist Association. The menu is: Chicken & Dumplings, Steamed Cabbage, Candied Yams, Cornbread, Chocolate Pie, Carrot Cake, and Tea. Fellowship Hall and FLC Use - If your class sponsors Koffee Before Church, please make sure the Fellowship Hall is cleaned afterward. Please wash all dishes and put them away (so dishes are not left in the drainer), put items back in their places and take the dishcloths home to wash. These few simple rules should be followed by all groups using the Fellowship Hall and will leave the kitchen clean and ready for the next group to use. Also, if your group uses the Family Life Center or has an event, please make sure the garbage is taken out (especially if leftover food has been left in the garbage cans) and the floor is swept. Your help in keeping our church clean is appreciated! Cindy and Dale Russell’s daughter, Shannon Liles and her husband, Philip, are in the process of adopting a baby. As you know, adoption is extremely expensive. If you would like to help Shannon and Philip in raising funds to adopt the child that God has chosen for them, you can make a donation at www.youcaring.com using Shannon and Philip Liles in the subject box. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7 year old classrooms. We love our children at KBC and want to ensure their safety!
Thank you
