This year thetournamentisbeingheldonMay4thand5th.May4thisalsoMemorialdayinTheNetherlands.Thismeansthatat8pmonSaturdayeveningthewholecountrywillobserve2minutesofsilencetorememberthosefallentoprotectourfreedom.Wekindlyaskallparticipantstoberespectfulofthistradition.DirectionsCar: Use interstate A2 or A27 to get to theN230. Turn onto the Fransiscusdreef, take thefirst right onto the Floridadreef. Continue it totheendwhereyouhavetoturnleftatasportsfacilityontotheManitobadreef.Ourfacilityisattheotherendofthatstreet.Theentrancegateismarkedwitharedsignshowingourlogo.PublicTransportation:OnSaturdayandSundayyoucantakebus3(toZuilen)andgetoffatthestopcalledFransiscusdreef.Oryoucantakebus1 (to Vechtsebanen) and get off at the stopcalled Vechtsebanen. ChangingroomsWehave two big changing rooms available for all themen’s teams. For thewomenwe have oneseparatechangingroomavailable.Sincethechangingroomsaresharedbyall teamsandwon’tbelockedwe strongly advice everybody to take their personal belongingswith them to the field. Allchangingroomsarefittedwithshowersandatoilet.Theclubhousealsohasseveraltoilets.

WaterTheorganizationwillprovideteamswithfreebottlesofwateratthebeginningofeachtournamentday.YoucancollectyourbottlesattheTournamentLeaderTable,nexttothefields.InNetherlandsitisperfectlysafetodrinkthewaterstraightfromthetapsotheemptybottlescanberefilledatanytime.Pleasedon’ttrashbutratherreturnemptybottlestoourfoodstandsowecanrecycle.

TrashTheorganizationwill setup trashcansalongside thepitchesand close to the food tent.Wekindlyrequesteverybodyusethesetodisposeoftheirtrash.Pleasenotifysomeonefromtheorganizationwhenatrashcanisfull.

MedicThroughoutthetournamenttherewillbefirstresponders(EHBO)onsite.Theycanbeconsultedforall injuries.Participantsmustbe insured formedicalassistance in theunfortunatecaseofa trip tothehospital.

2. Theparticipantsaredividedintwocategories,Men/MixandWomen.3. TheMen/Mixcategoryhas4groupsofeach8teams.4. Thetoptwoteamsofeachgroupwillqualifyforthetoptierplacementgames,1-8.The

numbers3and4willgotothetierforplaces9-16,andsoon.5. Thewomen’scategorywillsplitintotwogroupsoffour.Topfourwillplayforplaces1-4.The

bottomfourteamswillplayforplaces5-8.6. Afterthetournamentisover,wewillhaveaprizeceremonywithatrophyforeveryteam.

Tournamentrules

1. Matcheswillbeplayedaccordingto2019IFAFFlagFootball5x5rules.2. Gameswillbe2x12minutes,runningclockwitha2-minutehalftime.3. Therewillbeanaudible2-minutewarninggiveninthefirstandsecondhalf.4. Firstmentionedteamstartsonoffenseinthefirsthalf.5. Secondmentionedteamstartsondefenseandgetstopickaside.6. TournamentLeaderTablewillsignalthestartandendofallgames.7. Incaseofaninjuryallplaywillbesuspendedandrestartedatthesametime.8. Blitzblockanddelayofgamepenaltieswillresultinalossofdown(nopenaltyyardage)9. Theoffensehas20secondstogetaplayoff.Theplayclockstartsassoonastheballhas

Saturdayisaleagueformat,drawscanhappen,gameswillnotbesubjecttoovertime.15. Sundayovertimeswillbedecidedbyaseriesof1-pointconversionshootouts.16. Intentionallyharminganopponentbyforexampletacklingwillresultinanejection.Severe

orrepeatedviolationsofconductandsportsmanshipwillresultinanexclusionfromparticipatingduringtheentireremainderofthetournament.
