• Would provide a pathway to citizenship based on certain criteria (age, education, background, etc.)

• Passed in August 2011
• Not a pathway to citizenship, assists undocumented students in their education
• “DACA”
• D.A.C.A. = Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
• 2 year protection for undocumented immigrants under 31 who came before age 16
