CIRCULAR
Sub: Fixation of time limit for allotment of land,building construction permit and providing
water supply connection to the plots allotted in
KIADB Industrial Areas.

The Government of India has implemented Business Reforms Action
Plan 2016 under Ease of Doing Business in order to perform public works
within the stipulated time limit.
The Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) is
acquiring lands throughout the State for development of industrial areas
and allotting land to the entrepreneurs after providing all the
infrastru cture faciiitie s.
KIADB is approving Development plan / Building plan submitted by
the Entrepreneurs for construction of building in tJle aLlotted plots. KIADB
is issuing Commencement Certificate & Occupancy Certificate and also
arranging water supply to the unit.
The above activities will have to be completed within the stipulated
time from the date of receiving applications till issue of approval letters/
Certificates to the allottees/ entrepreneurs.

The time limit stipulated for each activity is as detailed below:

All the Development Officers are directed to strictiy adhere to the
stipulated time limit for the above activities. Any lapses in performing t}-e
above duties will be viewed seriously and disciplinary action will be
initiated against erred officers.

ii. Inspection Letter to Applicant for
Inspection of site.
iii. Site Inspection by the DO along with
DDO & AE.
iv. Uploading of Site Inspection report.
v. Verification of drawing/plans by AE
and forwarding with opinion to DDO.
vi. Verification by DDO and forwarding
with recommendation for Approval to

opinion to JD(T&P)
ix. JD(T&P) Verifies and sends with
recommendation for approval to CDO&CE
x. CDO&CE Accords in principle approval and sends back for further process to DO
section.
xi. Accords approval by DO.
