2. Place the Card front into the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, and run through the
machine.
3. Apply Crumb Cake ink to the embossed image using a Sponge Dauber. Add touches of
Soft Suede ink around the edges of the cardstock.
4. Adhere the embossed card front to the Soft Suede mat.

5. Choose an image from the Bird Ballad DSP, and fussy cut.

6. Prior to adhering, place the images onto the card front for the layout. Adhere to the card
front.

Directions:
1. Stamp the Birch background stamp in Soft Suede on layer 2.
2. Emboss the stamped panel using the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.

3. Using a Stamping Sponge, add Coastal Cabana ink all over the stamped/embossed
panel.
4. Use a Wild Rose die to die cut the Coastal Cabana border.

5. With the help of the Stamparatus, on the Whisper White panel stamp layer one of the
flower using Flirty Flamingo.
6. Stamp layer two of the flower, using Melon Mambo.

7. Stamp the middle of the flower using Mango Melody.
8. On the same Whisper White panel stamp two leaves using Granny Apple Green ink.

9. Die cut the flower and leaves.
10. Die cut the Stitched Nested Label, using the 3-¼” x 1-¾” (9.3cm x 4.45cm).

11. Stamp the sentiment on the remaining Whisper White scrap and using Paper Snips, cut
it out.
12. Cut off the ends of the border, so it fits on layer 2.

Directions:
1. Score and fold the Blushing Bride cardstock to make a folded card.
2. Spritz the Crumb Cake cardstock lightly on one side and emboss with the Subtles 3D
Embossing Folder.

3. Sponge lightly over the Crumb Cake embossed piece with Crumb Cake ink and a
Stamping’ Sponge, just to highlight the texture.
4. Emboss the same piece with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder. Set aside.
5. Die cut the largest Stitched Label from Whisper White cardstock. Spritz the die cut piece
lightly with water and emboss with the 3d Layered Leaves embossing folder, positioning
the label in the centre of the embossing folder.
6. Sponge over the Stitched Label embossed piece with Rococo Rose ink and a Stamping
Sponge until you are happy with the intensity of colour. The raised leaves will pick up the
ink. Set aside.

7. Stamp the Hello Beautiful Sentiment onto the piece of Vellum as shown. Die Cut the
sentiment with the appropriately sized Stitched Label die, positioning the greeting in the
top part of the die.
8. Stamp two butterflies onto Whisper White cardstock with Stazon Jet Black ink. Once the
ink is totally dry, sponge over the butterflies with Crumb Cake ink. Colour sections of the
butterfly with Rococo Rose ink using a blender pen. Punch out the butterflies with the
Butterfly Duet Punch.
9. Stamp the butterfly body onto the butterflies using Stazon Jet Black Ink.

10. To assemble the card, wrap the shorter piece of Linen Ribbon around the Crumb Cake
layer, using Tear & Tape to adhere in place on back of the layer. Adhere to the folded
card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
11. Position all the layers as you would like them, without adhering. Adhere the two
butterflies as shown onto the Vellum piece, using glue dots only on the areas where they
will adhere to the Vellum.
12. Flip the vellum/butterfly piece over and apply glue dots to the vellum only where they will
be covered by the butterfly. Apply glue dots to the body and lower wings of the
butterflies. Adhere onto the Rococo Rose inked panel.
13. Flip the whole panel over and apply Stampin’ Dimensionals to the panel and the butterfly
wings that are showing. Adhere the piece centrally onto the card front.

14. Tie a bow with the remaining Linen Ribbon and adhere to the card front with Glue Dots.
15. Adhere small light pink sequins to the card front. I use a toothpick to dot a very small
amount of glue onto card and then place the sequin on the glue using Take Your Pick
tool and the other end of sequin to position.

Directions:
1. Take Pacific Point base card, fold and burnish score line.
2. Adhere Coastal Cabana layer to the front of the base card with Multipurpose Liquid
Glue.
3. Take Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point
Classic Stampin’ Pads and Stampin’ Spritzer.
4. Press the Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point Classic Stampin’ Pads one by
one onto the raised edges of the Swirls & Curls embossing folder. Start with the lightest
color, then move to the darkest color.
5. Use the Stampin’ Spritzer to add water to the ink covered embossing folder, add the
Shimmery White cardstock layer to the ink covered embossing folder and fold closed.
Remove the cardstock carefully from embossing folder and let air dry.

6. Adhere dried Shimmery White cardstock layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the
Coastal Cabana layer on the base card.
7. Stamp the octopus from the Sea of Textures stamp set with Night of Navy ink on
Whisper White cardstock. Die cut the octopus with the Under the Sea dies.
8. Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock with Pacific Point ink. Fussy
cut the sentiment.
9. Die cut the fish net from Sahara Sand cardstock with the Under the Sea dies. Take the
die cut and crumple it to create texture. Adhere the fish net to the Swirls & Curls
background with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
10. Add the octopus (Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals), the sentiment (Mini Stampin’
Dimensionals) and some Seaside Spray and Pretty Peacock Woven Threads Sequins
(Fine Tip Glue Pen) to finish off the card. See the picture of the complete project at the
start of this tutorial.

Directions:
1. Ink the Birch background stamp in Sahara Sand and stamp on the Very Vanilla layer.
Set it aside.
2. Stamp two of the three step roses from To a Wild Rose on Very Vanilla. Stamp 1:
Blushing Bride stamped off; Stamp 2: Rococo Rose stamped off; Stamp 3: Rococo
Rose. Tip: Line up the pointed petal for easy stamping. See photos.
3. Stamp three of the three step leaves on Very Vanilla. Stamp 1: Old Olive stamped off;
Stamp 2: Mossy Meadow stamped off; Stamp 3: Mossy Meadow.
4. Use the Wild Rose dies to cut out the roses and leaves.
5. Using the Lace embossing folder, place the Blushing Bride strip with a long edge lined
up with an embossing line. With your Paper Snips, trim the bottom of the embossed
scallops.
6. Adhere the embossed Blushing Bride to the Very Vanilla panel with Multipurpose Liquid
Glue.
7. Add a piece of Tear and Tape across the Blushing Bride about ½” (1cm) from the top.

8. Adhere a piece of Sahara Sand ⅝” Woven Threads Trim. Clip the connecting thread at
the bottom and pull it out to create a fringe/mini tassels.
9. Trim any overhanging pieces on either side of the Very Vanilla panel.
10. Adhere the roses with Dimensionals. Use a double stack of Dimensionals on the right
side of the top flower.
11. Adhere the Very Vanilla panel to the Mossy Meadow layer with Multipurpose Glue.
12. Tuck in the leaves and adhere with Multipurpose Glue.
13. Adhere the layered panel to the card base with Dimensionals.
14. Accent with Pearls.

Tips for using Embossing Folders
● Spritz cardstock before embossing for a more distinct impression.
● Use a Sponge Dauber to selectively highlight embossed areas.
● Use a Stamping Sponge to apply color across more detailed embossing.
● Add color to the embossing folder to create a colored, embossed design.
● Spritz the color added to an embossing folder to create a “watercolor” embossed design.
● Cut the embossed panel by hand following the embossed design to create a uniquely
shaped layer.
