5DISCOVER A UNIQUE INTERNATIONAL LIBERAL ARTS EDUCATION
6WHY AN INTERNATIONAL LIBERAL ARTS EDUCATION?
In an interconnected global world where working in new situations and changing jobs and careers has become the norm, JCUs solid international liberal arts education provides the structure to adapt and thrive in this environment.
Business and organizations are valuing students with liberal arts training who can think critically, ask good questions, and find creative and innovative solutions to problems that are often complex and ambiguous and cross national lines.
Creative and innovative thinking arises from an international education. Learning how to behave and think in different way may make individuals aware of multiple perspectives and approaches when dealing with mundane and novel situations and, thus, may be associated with increased creativity.** From: Cultural Borders and Mental Barriers:The Relationship Between Living Abroad and Creativity, William W. MadduxINSEAD and Adam D. Galinsky Northwestern University Journal of Personality and Social Psychology 2009Vol. 96, No. 5, 10471061 0022-3514/09/$12.00 DOI: 10.1037/a0014861
