I want to give a round of applause to everyone who donated gifts. Without them, we would not have had the plethora of gifts to raffle off.
Those companies / individuals who donated gifts were:
The NASF/OC EcosystemsSirco Industial, Inc. ADS GoldGeneral Brite Plating EMS LaboratoriesBFK Solutions Ron BarauskasDoug Sear/Optiforms Krzysztof Bukowiec/Technic
If I forgot to mention someone’s name, let me know and I’ll make sure you get recognition.
I also want to thank everyone who worked so diligently to make this Christmas Party such a great success. The Elks Lodge was a wonderful venue and so festively decorated, (a big thanks, to Chuck Hirbour, for suggesting the Elks Lodge and connecting us with the event coordinator, Tracie ). Also, Kudos to Carol, the bartender, who was a real gem and poured a mean drink. I finally want to thank our superb board of directors for your hard work and great communication to pull this wonderful event off.
Thank you to all who braved the weather to attend our 2013 NASF/OC Christmas Party. The weather issues gave us a late start, but everything went as planned thereafter. The rain stopped, the clouds dispersed and the moon shown through. What a great night to watch the Newport Beach Harbor Boat Parade. I hope everyone had a very enjoyable evening. I know I did.
And how about that live music, featuring Irvin Williams on Saxophone and Lenny on keys…. What a great sound they had! Why weren’t you all dancing?
Our speaker, Joe Conner, shared on the opportunities in the Metal Finishing marketplace, especially in areas of funding, grants and opportunities for new research and development, as there is a glut of money being held for investments on a number of fronts. An extensive number of examples of funds available by demographic areas were discussed.
Needless to say, Joe’s talk was humorous and interesting, and was thought-provoking and a great opportunity to follow up in the new year.
This month, we are pleased to bring back a crowd pleaser…. Frank Altmayer.
I know you all will want to come out and hear what he has to say on masking for selective plating. Frank has a wealth of knowledge to share with you so take advantage of his visit and glean all the information you can from him. Lets give Frank a real Sunny California welcome.
