Project 1 - Mood Board “The Great Gatsby”
! My mood board is inspired by the film The Great Gatsby. The colors I chose were classic
colors such as gray, nude, white, black and gold. By observing the costumes that the characters wore,
I chose the fabric materials that would best represent the 1920’s. There’s lace, feathers, printed
baroque, silk and stripe that I wanted to use. They are all different textures and fabric materials
because there were so many details on the clothes that they wore. My mood board photos were
inspired by the similar styles in the 1920’s, shown with head piece, lace gloves, tie bows, etc.
