Homework Packets, Reading Logs and Thursday Folders are due Friday morning.

Our class Library Day is Wednesday.

PE Days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, so please make sure that your child is wearing appropriate shoes.

Our class Computer Day is Tuesday.

Every morning, your child should:• Be on time• Know how they are getting home• Know what they are having for lunch• Have a healthy snack and clean, full

water bottle• Wear appropriate shoes• Have their homework folder.

We have a reward system that they can use their tickets to purchase

privileges.

If your child has a change in dismissal, please send a note with

your child.

If the change occurs during the school day, please call the office

Assignments are 80% of the overall grade and assessments and projects are 20% of grade.

Parents have full access to student grades through the Home Access system.

Any student earning a grade below a 70% will receive additional instruction and will be given an opportunity to improve the grade to a maximum of a 70%.

Homework PacketReading LogWord Study

Homework is given on Friday and due the next Friday. Families can choose what days they do homework so

that they can work around their schedule.Word Study is for two weeks. Students should choose activities that work for them. Items on the homework

packet are only suggestions.

Forest Creek greatly appreciates its parent volunteers for school

activities.

The Book Fair, Spring Carnival, Watch DOGS, Field Day, Field Trips, and

Class Parties are just a few opportunities to get involved.

How can you help your child? Read together daily at the appropriate reading

level to build your child’s stamina! Talk with your child about their reading. Ask

them questions about what they have read. Go over class work that has been returned. You’ll know ahead of time when a test is

coming up – start studying then! Check the third grade team websites for

handouts, games, links, study guides and reviews.
