History
ITN Food Corporation is a family run and operated company founded in 1988 by Mr. M. Z. Ansari. Educated in Detroit, USA as a Mechanical Engineer, Mr. Ansari always possessed a creative flair with a passion for trade and the confidence to take risks. During the mid 1980’s Mr. Ansari changed his career exchanging his slide rule and compass for an apron and a toque blanche and started experimenting along with Mrs. Ansari on various spice blends, chutneys and condiments while perfecting his knowledge of trade and distribution.

In 1988 Mr. Ansari finally pursued his lifelong dream of creating new products with his ability to elicit delicious flavors from quality ingredients and creating an organization with the ability to distribute premium ingredients and gourmet food products with the founding of ITN Food Corporation.
Since that time ITN has always been an innovator in the South Asian Grocery Industry. We currently distribute a variety of well known International brands such as Shan, Hamdard, Chulbule, Minar, Desi along with a variety of premium commodities from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, UAE and USA.

Our Strengths
We have the Human Resources available for Multicultural and Multi-Lingual staffing, which helps to deal with the Diversity of the North American Market and consumers from all different walks and shades of life.
We have active teams & resources in effect to enable us a dynamic and efficient placement drive, to ensure shelf availability within targeted time frames.
We are a 100% loan free company, completely self funded, with no dependency on banks.

What We Do
Manufacturing & Packaging
ITN manufactures and packages many of its own House Brands with ingredients sourced locally and imported from all over the world.
ITN has state of the art Packaging, Labeling, Grinding, Sifting, Paste Making, Filing, and Mixing Machinery.

What We Do
Distribution ITN’s specialty is distribution where its entire inventory and stock
rotation is computerized and indexed to preserve shelf life and a rapid movement in stock. ITN’s forte is the ability to mobilize and distribute products in a very short period of time, since we believe foremost in customer service and a 24 hour local delivery turnaround time.

In addition, ITN distributes to their customers directly without the involvement of wholesalers and third parties which not only reduces pricing for their customers but also gives them the opportunity to tweak marketing and sales strategies at pace with the ever changing marketplace.
ITN distributes to ethnic retailers, Mainstream Chain Outlets and the Food Services Industry (Caterers, Hotels, Restaurants, Banquet Halls).
ITN is a C-TPAT partner. The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism is a voluntary anti-terrorism supply chain security program led by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
ITN has a GMP program administered by its QA department.

Our Facility: Canada
ITN operates out of a 53,000 square foot plant and distribution centre in Toronto, Canada. Also featured in house, is a 5000 square foot freezer.
In addition to this, ITN has a joint collaboration warehouse facility/distribution centre in Quebec and is opening a new Western Canada distribution centre in Vancouver.
ITN has 5 Heavy Bore Trucks, which allows us to distribute directly to customers.
ITN operates with a professional management team and staff of 15 involved with sourcing and direct sales and a total staff of 50-70.

ITN USA operates out of a 15,000 square foot distribution centre in Detroit, USA.
In addition to this, ITN USA has a joint collaboration warehouse facility/distribution centre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
ITN USA has 1 Heavy Bore Truck, allowing distribution to customers.
ITN USA operates with a professional team of 7.

Ansari along with Deputy General Managers Mr. Talha Siddiqui and Mr. Sadiq Ansari are an experiencedmanagement team who have the vision to further expandITNs distribution network, which includes setting up a newbranch in Vancouver in the spring of 2014, along with furthersatellite distribution centers in key markets across Canadaand USA.
