Congratulations to Norwood's A Team who reached the final of the Laurie Parr Cup. It was a very exciting game made more so by the exceptional enthusiastic support
provided by Norwood's massive army of supporters armed with drums, banners and a whistle (Mrs Coleman!), who marched from school to Haig Ave making as much
noise as possible.
Thank you so much. You were truly amazing!Well done to Tom Mitchell who scored an amazing free kick. Praise must also go to Aaron Rimmer for some exceptional saves! A great performance by the whole team
which was played in a great spirit. Well done boys.Man of the Match: Aaron Rimmer

Last week’s competition was to create a design or picture from natural materials. Unfortunately, no one was inspired with spring fever, so we
don’t have a winner this week.
Now to this week’s competition.
This year’s Southport Fun Fest has a ‘Heroes’ theme and they aim to honour people who can be considered heroes such as: police, fire-
fighters, nurses, soldiers, teachers, parents etc. They are running a ‘Draw a Hero’ competition. So this week’s competition is to draw a hero on A4 paper – it may be a super hero doing something heroic, it may
be someone you know or someone famous – it’s up to you. The Fun Fest competition is for 7-11 year olds and we will forward all eligible
entries. However all ages can enter the Norwood competition.
Pop your entries in the competition post box outside the hall or hand in at the office, by Tues 10th May with your name, age, school and
class on the back.
Nicole has passed her
Level 7 Swimming
Award.
Fantastic!
Cerys has passed her Level
4 Proficiency award in
Gymnastics.
Wonderful!
Joshua came 1st in a recent
Archery Competition. Outstanding!
Elliot has passed his
Stage 4 National Plan Swimming
award. Terrific!
