Remember, unlike a computer, you do not hold the CTRL key down. You simply press and release control then press the short-cut key.

Keypad Changes: Summary Navigation keys have been improved Alpha keys are separate Fewer Function keys by combining similar

functions into pop-up palettes (i.e trig, punctuation, math constants)

Templates like fractions and others are easily accessible from pop-up template palettes

Shortcut keys are the same as previous OS versions.

Changes to the Teacher Edition Software

Version 2.0 of the software is a free upgrade for previously licensed versions

Overview: Can use colour to distinguish graphs Integrated computer link software Emulator can show either keypad Menus for applications align with handheld menus and use

icons to describe them Multiple documents can be open and displayed in the emulator Interfaces directly with Connect to Class and Navigator Most recent version is 2.0.1.60

Nspire CAS TE v2.0

These summer institutes provide teachers with hands-on opportunities to learn how to effectively use TI-Nspire in their classroom. There are two institutes for you to choose from:

Getting Started with TI-Nspire CAS•Intended for teachers new to Nspire CAS

Using TI-Nspire CAS in Your Classroom•Intended for teachers with some experience with Nspire CAS

Each course costs $325 US
