Interpersonal—informal communication with others

Small-group Communication Communication that occurs in a group setting (3 or more people).

many people in a face-to-face situation.

Mass/Public Communication One-way communication involving TV, radio, internet.

*Social Media Combines interpersonal (one to one) and mass communication (one to many).

Extemporaneous Brief notes of main ideas are used Involves thorough preparation
