Questions on New Innovations?

Course Exams - ExamSoft™

ExamSoft™ is a proprietary software system that allows exams to be created, administered, and scored electronically.

SofTest is the module you will use to securely take exams on your personal laptop computer.

Completed exams are automatically uploaded back to a secure server.

As a tutorial, a mock exam will be given:Friday, August 9, HG611 @ 1:00 p.m.

SofTest Module

You will receive an e-mail instructing you to download (and register) your copy of SofTest

You should install SofTest on the laptop you will be using for course exams (Mac/PC)

Your ExamSoft username is the first part of your UK e-mail address (e.g., student34@uky.edu)

Your initial password is randomly assigned – and contained in the introductory e-mail. You will be prompted to change it upon initial log in.

Student Exam Reports

Individual reports summarizing your test performance are sent to you electronically (youremail@uky.edu) in *.pdf format.

At your discretion, these can be printed off and used during post-exam review sessions.

Post-exam revisions may be made to correct poorly-performing test items; as a result, this exam reporting process may be repeated or delayed slightly.

Exam Contacts

For questions regarding exam reports, contact Amy Murphy-Spencer (amspenc@email.uky.edu), 323-1196.

All questions regarding actual tests, content, test scores, or course grades should be directed to respective course directors.

Please read each course syllabus carefully to identify exam dates/times, grading schemes, etc.
