INTRODUCTION Malaria is an environmental disease
because it’s a tropical or equatorial’s one and it’s expended more in unhealthy arias.
In the D.R.Congo, malaria is an andemic disease which is the major cause of the regular increasing of death rate, particularly among pregnant women and under five years old children.
Fever is the main symptom of malaria.

GOALS to measure the impact of the insecticid
treated bednet (ITNs) on the malaria among children under the age of five
To have an overall view on the use of bednet across the all country by comparing the provinces situation.
To bring out the influence of an unheathy environment on the impact of ITNs
Jacky Kabwe
CONTEXT Malaria is due to the mosquitoes which are the
vectors for this skill and at the east of the D.R.Congo, the war which took place there favorised bad living conditions of many peoples
PNLP is an official institution which organise and elaborate programmes to reduce the rate of malaria.
PNLP preconise the use of insecticid treated bednets as one of issues to prevent malaria. So, It has been organise some free distribution of ITNs campains across the country in some provinces (more in the Eastern because of the precarity of conditions of peoples striked by the war)

ANALYSIS METHOD
The data source is DHS-DRC 2007 and we completed with MICS 2
The multivariate analysis: the dependant variable is the fever while the two weeks preceding the survey, while the explicative variable is the use of ITNs the night preceding the survey by children under five. This have been presented also by province for comparability. We integrate the environment data to bring out their influence on ITNs.

ITNS DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMME MAP OF THE D.R.CONGO
Jacky Kabwe
CONCLUSION PNLP strategy proves to be efficient because the
impact of ITNs is distinctly meaningful. the direct unhealthy environment prevent an
inefficient action of ITNs in general and in the provinces where there are the highest rate of non hygienic means of evacuation of worm-out water and garbage( Maniema and Bas-Congo).
the free distribution of ITNs be assured beforehand when it will be extend first in provinces which have not yet beneficiate of it.
decision-makers, as well as the humanitarian must take more care on programmes of cleaning up the immediate environment. It would permit to get efficient results all over the Congolese population and on children under five in particular.
