OverviewThe intensive course is designed for students either who wish to spend more time in the classroom perfecting their language skills or who wish to participate in specialised afternoon activities, while at the same time joining our varied social programme.

What is included in the Junior Intensive Programme Fee?
Full-board accommodation A variety of different electives available
15 hours of general English group tuition per week
6 hours per week of specialised elective modules
Use of textbooks and teaching materials
Diploma upon completion of course
Welcome kit with guides and maps
Cultural visits on 2 afternoons per week
2 evening activities per week (host family)
7 evening activities per week (residence)
Transport costs, where necessary, to and from school and to and from ECI activities
One full day excursion each weekend to places of cultural interest
Enrolment, registration and administration fees
Starts on fixed dates and is subject to a minimum number of participants
DatesThe programme begins on fixed dates from late June to August and lasts either two, three or four weeks. A similar programme can also be arranged for closed groups from September to June.

Levels & Classes The course starts on fixed dates and is subject to a minimum number of participants. A minimum level of good intermediate (CEFR B1) is required for some options. Should students not meet the language requirement they will be offered an alternative course option.
Teaching MaterialsWe use the most up-to-date textbooks and teaching materials.Junior students are entitled to the use of a textbook during theircourse and each student receives teaching materials as part of thecourse package.
Testing & PlacementStudents are given an oral and written placement test on their firstday. Progress is monitored on an ongoing basis and class levelsadjusted accordingly.

Academic Electives Conversation & Speaking SkillsThe intensive conversation course allows learners to improve their fluency i n E nglish, b y p ractising conversation and speaking skills in groups in the afternoons.
Leadership & InnovationThis interactive course will introduce older students to leadership and innovation and offer them key insights into the importance of innovation in shaping future leaders. Students will gain an understanding of the key attributes of effective leaders and innovators and undertake case studies of leaders from across the spectrum of life, business, education, technology, sport and the Arts.
