ADVANTAGE OF AJM

Ability to cut intricate hole shape.

Ability to cut fragile & heat sensitive

material without damage as no heat is

generated due to passing of gas or air.

Low capital cost.

DISADVANTAGE OF AJM

MRR is slow.

Limited application.

Machining accuracy is poor.

Nozzle wear rate is high.

Additional cleaning of work

surface may required.

The material removal rate can be improved by increasing the abrasive flow rate provided the mixing ratio can be kept constant as shown in Chart - (2). The mixing ratio can be kept unchanged only by a simultaneous increase of both gas and abrasive mass flow.

CALIBATED VIBRATOR Calibrated vibrator is used for proper mixing of abrasive particles in the air stream is provided vibrating motion to the mixing chamber.

Our vibrator including linear vibrating feeder have the advantages of stable vibration, reliable working, and long service life and so on. Vibrating machine can provide materials evenly for crushing machinery, and make coarse separation.

At starting the MRR increases with increase STD up to certain limit then it will be constant for some limit and after that MRR decreases with respect to STD.

From the graph we conclude that With the help of pressure regulating valve gas pressure increases the MRR is also increases.

FUTURE WORK

Install the flow meter and vibrator.

Perform the experiment.
