LUBRICATING THE LOCOMOTIVE• Like all fine mechanical equipment Lionel locomotives deserve good care.
The locomotive should Le cleaned and lubricated regularly when in continuoususe and also after it has been stored away for a long time. Follow the lubricationchart in Figure 'A. t i - i i i ^ I .Umi-1 Lubricant at points marked 'L' and light machineoil at point, marked 'O\O NOT OVEK-LU BRIG ATE. A drop or two of oilor a dab of lubricant is sufficient. Do not gel oil or grease on the motor brushesor the running surfaces of the wheels. If any oil or lubricant gela on the railsit will cause the locomotive wheels to slip and should be cleaned off with aclean dry cloth.
