Indians arrived in Australia between 1800-1816. A small number of Indians arrived in Australia as convicts transported by the British government in India.

During the first 60 years of the 19th century, most of the Indians who arrived in Australia were recruited as labourers by the British Government. They later settled down in Australia.

Letters and vowels

Numbers are the same all over the world. Indians have 28 vowels and 58 letters with all different symbols.

Food

Indian people have brought lots of food like curry and Dahl.Indian food is quite often spicy and very delicious. It also comes on enormous plates.
