Importing from Mediasite to CLAS
S Mediasite is a very powerful lecture capture system that combines videos with slideshow in one recording and playback experience.
S Bring this rich Mediasite experience into CLAS, so that you benefit from the collaboration, annotation, and access-control features of CLAS, as long as aggregating those Mediasite video with other video sources for use in your course.
S "Views" of a Mediasite video from within CLAS will also count toward your Mediasite statistics. So adding Mediasite content into CLAS for teaching does not take away the benefits of creating content in Mediasite in the first place.
S Importing a video from Mediasite takes about 10 seconds

Caveats
S Full screen annotation is not available on Mediasite yet
S The Mediasite player does not have the same integrated “attention trend heatmap” that the CLAS player has
S Some older Mediasite videos need Silverlight installed to be played. (Newer Mediasite videos are HTML5 compatible, so no extra browser plug-ins would need to be installed.)
S If a Mediasite video is later deleted from Mediasite, then it will also be deleted in CLAS. The reverse does not apply.
