The OHSU Guest House—to be known as the Gary & Christine Rood Family Pavilion, will serve as a welcoming home-away-from-home dedicated to serving 49% of Doernbecher’ s patient population who are traveling from long distances to receive care at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and the Knight Cancer Institute. The guest house will also be a part of our world-class cancer facility for patients traveling to OHSU for clinical trials and clinical research programs.

THANK YOU
“When the doctors walked in and saw my mom sitting
up and smiling, they both got tears in their eyes. My son
became known as the miracle baby throughout OHSU
and Doernbecher. Thank you so much for all that you do!
Without you, I would not have my son today.”
