At the noon meeting of the clubAugust 30, Patchogue Rotary pre-sented its annua l donat ions toworthy char i table organizations.

I\ ler Snyder 's talk to the clubon a famous battle dur ing the ci-vil war , was a revelation to theRotarians in attendance. Pete wasnot only famjl iar with every de-tail of the mil i tary maneuvers butwas able to trace the progress ofthe battle on a scale map and call,the generals by their first na-mes at the same time, quite afeat for one of Patchogue 's attor-

neys. Pete s talk had gone over-t ime about 12 minutes before thedepar ture gong sounded and heheld the audience at perfect atten-tion throughout his talk.
