Cancellation of DRK DemoCancellation of DRK Demo

• DRK has moved from 2005 on to Berlin, will not reside in Wiesbaden any longer

• New DRK congress management has decided that IHE will only receive a 10 m² booth this year– Decision communicated to IHE end of January 2005.

• Sufficient for presentations, posters, etc., but not for a „live demonstration“ as in 2002-2004.

• Congress on „IT in Health Care“ (started in 2004)• Organised by the VHitG, representing the vendors of IT

systems in health care in Germany• Consists of exhibition and „dialogue“ (presentations)• Focussed towards a very specific target audience,

which should be highly interested by IHE.

• In 2005 takes place in parallel with the Connectathon• If we avoid collision for 2006, this could be a very

interesting venue especially for an IT-I showcase
