1. The HydrosphereThe hydrosphere is the water surrounding the Earth.

The water in our planet is in three possible states: solid,

liquid and gas.

2. Water’s cycleThe water cycle is the cycle in which water is

in its three possible states: solid, liquid, and gas.

3. Composition of waterThe chemical formula of water is H2O. The water is compound by two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen.

The seas and oceans are very dynamic. Change the landscape coastal form very characteristic.

4. Distribution of water The water is distributed in three states: Liquid water: Temperature is between 0

degrees to 100 degrees. Solid water: Temperature is lower than 0

degrees. Vapour water: It comes from the evaporation

of seas, rivers and lakes.

5. Uses of waterThe water has a lot of uses. The water is used

for agriculture, society and industrial. The water can be dangerous. For example, tsunamis, waves that can destroy towns and houses.

6. Water in continentsThe water continents are the superficial

water, glaciers and underground water. Continental superficial water:We can find rivers, lakes, marshes, estuaries,

wetlands and deltas.

6.1. Underground waterThe underground water comes of infiltration

of rainwater through porous layers until the water is retained by an impermeable layer that can´t pass through.

6.2 Glaciers waterThe glaciers are mass of permanent ice

grouped in parts of the Earth in which the temperature keep down 0ºC. The 10% of the Earth are glaciers.

7.The water in the human bodyThe 60% of our body is water. The water is

more important than food. The timpanism, is the pressure exerted by the water or altitude on you when diving, this can happen.

ExperimentSurface Tension:The surface tension is the elastic tendency of

water which makes them acquire the least surface are possible.
