As the world’s largest flying parrot, theHyacinth Macaw is extremely distinguishableby its magnificent ultramarine blue plumage.Unfortunately it is their striking appearanceand inquisitive nature ,which make them victims to the international and illegal live-bird trade, a significant cause of theirendangerment.
