• Originally Hungary was inhabited by GERMAN and SLAVIK people.

• During the 10. CENTURY a. C. it was invaded by Asiatic nomads, the MAGIARI that created the Hungarian Reign.

• At the beginning of the 16th CENTURY, Hungary was conquered by the OTTOMANS.

• From 1668 to 1918 Hungary was under Austrian domination.

• In 1918 it became independent.

• After WWII, the Communist Party took control of the country and the Soviet Union suppressed the opposition. The Communist government ended only in 1989.
