Human and Godly Ambition
Beatitudes = happiness
“Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.”
Luke 6:20
“But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort.”
Luke 6:24
“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:25
How do we try to explain this?
“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:25
• I’m not really rich• Tithing is enough• The needle was a gate • A mistranslation of ‘rope’• It’s the love of money that is evil• All things are possible with God
How do we try to explain this?
