HUDSON RIVER CHARTS IN .JPG FORMAT

These large scale .JPG charts are intended as a supplement to "A Cruising Guide to the Hudson River" by Lawrence Zeitlin and should be used for trip planning and general amusement, NOT FOR NAVIGATION. They were extracted from an old NYS publication. The river contours have not changed in 50 years although use of a depth finder is recommended in choosing anchorages and approaching town docks. The large numbers on the charts refer to locations described in an obsolete NYS travel guide and should be ignored. JPG files can be enlarged to examine points of interest. Caution is advised in avoiding government and military installations. Official NOAA charts of the Hudson River are: #12343 - New York to Wappinger Creek, #12347 - Wappinger Creek to Hudson, and #12348 - Coxsackie to Troy.
