How to Start Twitter!--For Students--

Click on this link: www.twitter.com. You will see:

Set up your account.

You can use your nickname too.

Click here after giving all information above.

Just skip this step.

Just Finish.

Click on Home.

This is your Twitter home.

Click on Setting

Add more account information.

Don’t check this!

Click on Save. Then open the Device tab.

You can put your cell phone number to get alerted (on assignments, etc.).

Please make sure to check the cost of texting with your cell phone before putting

the number here.

Back to Home

Click on Find People

Click on Find on Twitter

Type your teachers name

Click on Search.

Click on Username

Click on Follow

Back to Home:Any message you write here will be posted publicly

(after clicking on Update).

You can write a message to people on the Internet, but your instructor will not receive it in his inbox (because he is not “following” you yet).
