Open this tool, you can see the following interface, obviously, it has four main capabilities:

When files are too big to transfer, you can use the split function.Firstly, click the “Split” button.

Second, select the input file to be divided.

www.datanumen.com/file-splitter/

Third, choose the output folder.

www.datanumen.com/file-splitter/

Forth, set the size limit of new split files. Then, click the “Start Split” button to start the split process.

After the split process, you will see the following prompt.

Later, when you need to join those split files to get the original file, you can use the “join” function. Step one, click the “Join” button:

Step two, select all the split files to be joined.

The third step is to choose the destination file name.

Then, you can click “Start Join” button to join the split files. The tool will confirm before proceeding.

After the process, the tool will show the result in the following message box.

If you want to make sure the new joined file is 100% identical to the original one, you can use the “Compare” by clicking the “Compare” button.

Then, select these two files as “First File” and “Second File” separately.

At this time, click “Start Compare” to start the comparison.

Result will be show in the window when the work is done.

Compare function is time-consuming and require both files on hand. However, if the original file is on a remote computer, then “Checksum” can help you to do the similar task.

For you, click the “Checksum”, and select your new file on the local computer. Meanwhile, do the same steps on the original file on remote computer.

After that, Click “Start” button to start calculating the checksum on both sides.
