How to Remove and Discard Delta Search

Toolbar from your Browsers

Delta Search Toolbar is considered as the most annoying, viscous, and chaotic component in the internet browsers.

If you want to get rid of this toolbar, follow this tutorial.

Uninstall Delta Search Toolbar

Launch Control Panel, and move to Programs and Features

Find and uninstall all relevant components, one by one, from the programs list

Remove from Internet Explorer

Launch Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu, and select Manage add-ons from the list

On Toolbars and Extensions tab, Select the relevant toolbars, and click to Disable these

Set default Search Engine in Internet Explorer

In Internet Explorer, move to the Tools menu, and select Manage add-ons from the list

On Search Providers tab, right click Delta Search to Remove, and make the other as default

Set Default Homepage in Internet Explorer

Press Start button, type ‘internet options’ in the Search box

Press Enter to open Internet Options window

On General tab, under Home Page, click on Use default button, to remove delta as homepage

Remove from Mozilla Firefox

Launch Mozilla Firefox, click on upper left corner, and select Add-ons from the list

Navigate to the Extensions tab, and remove the relevant extensions, one by one, by click Remove button

Remove from Google Chrome

Move to the upper right corner in Google Chrome, click on Menu button and select Settings

In the Extensions tab, remove the relevant extensions, by clicking on small recycle bin image

Set Default Homepage in Google Chrome

Move to the upper right corner in the Google Chrome, click on Menu button and select Settings

In the Settings tab, click to select Open the New Tab page, in On Startup section

Set Default Search Engine in Google Chrome

On the Settings tab, click Manage search engines button to view the Search Engines dialog

Select Google in the list, and click on Make Default button, then select Delta and click X button

Remove Registry Keys Types “regedit” in the Search box and select Registry Editor

Follow this path: “ KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl”

Delete the key, named :“FEATURE_ERROR_PAGE_BYPASS_ZONE_CHECK_FOR_HTTPS_KB954312”

Navigate to:“HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\

CurrentVersion\Internet Settings”

Delete the value, named “WarnOnHTTPSToHTTPRedirect”

Follow this path:“HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\

CurrentVersion\Policies\System”

Delete the below values, named as :“DisableRegedit”“DisableRegistryTools”“DisableTaskMgr”

Navigate to :“HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\

CurrentVersion\Run”

Delete the value, named “Inspector”

Close Registry Editor

Clean Windows Registry

Download and Install a free registry cleaner such as Registry Recycler

Scan Windows registry to repair and fix registry errors 

It will also improve PC efficiency and you will experience speedy browsing
