How To Produce Quick
HANDOUTS For A
POWERPOINT Presentation
WHAT YOU NEED
• Your presentation.
• A printer.
• [Optional] Comb or other binder.
GO TO THE PRINT MENU
• Click FILE > PRINT (2010) or OFFICE ICON> PRINT (2007)
• Select HANDOUTS > SLIDES PER PAGE : 3
• Then click PREVIEW

• Click OPTIONS
• Click HEADER & FOOTER
CHANGE COLOR
• Click OPTIONS
• CLICK COLOR/GREYSCALE
TROUBLESHOOTING 1• It is ever looks too big for the paper,
click SCALE TO FIT PAPER
TROUBLESHOOTING 2• If you can’t alter the
number of slides to show on the page, make sure you have selected HANDOUTS.
• 3 slides per page is the only option that gives the lines on the right of the page to write on.
OPTIONAL EXTRA
• Bound handouts look even more professional. Comb binders are inexpensive.
• Put a blank piece of card as the back of your handout and a sheet of see-through plastic as the front.
ECO-FRIENDLY OPTION
• Save your handout as a PDF and make it available via a link to attendees.
• First install PrimoPDF on your computer.
• Go to PRINT and choose PrimoPDF.

• eBOOK is a medium file size.
• You don’t want PREPRESS – the largest file size.
