Horror Questionn
aireOur group has created a questionnaire which focused on sub-genre preferences, Basic iconography and other subjects - for instance, what makes the viewer uncomfortable.
We've asked people we know to complete the questionnaire in person, to ensure that if there’s any confusion about the questions we would be able to provide an explanations so we get the
best and most accurate results.
The questionnaire will give us a better knowledge of who our target audience is and what they look for in Horror films.
We kept track of the answers by making a tally, this made it easier to generalize the information into other, clearer forms such as graphs and pie charts.

This table shows that most of our participants watch Horror films from
the comfort of their own homes - we should make
the film available to watch at home in 3D as
well as the usual 2D and allow the audience to
watch it on things like Blu-ray and Sky plus etc.
Also, making a big advertising campaign to
spread the word about the DVD releases would
attract more viewers.

cliché, more predictable and cheesy. There’s too many
remakes and the films have lost all the tension and all
that’s left is jump scares.
