Procedure objective: (Clean)Learn how to move quickly when working in pairs or groups. (Caring and Cooperative) Learn the speaking volume when working out loud with a partner or partners in class.

Clean, Caring and Cooperative (PBIS)

1. You will often be asked to work with a partner in class.

2. With so many students in class it could be very loud if each student spoke at the same time and in their normal voice.

3. To show that you care, sit closer to your partner. This looks like you are sitting elbow to elbow.

4. This is called a pair-share activity and allows your partner know you are ready to work.

5. Your voice should be loud enough so just your partner can hear clearly.

6. We will practice moving the desks and pair sharing with the next activity.

Quickly slide your desks sideways and together without bumping them.

Practice Activity - Total Recall

Introduce yourself and tell a little about yourself. You may use the cues from your name plate.
