Project description

� This EU funded project is a study on the development of a technology and

service oriented, energy-efficient intermodal port system as best practice

business model for the deployment in existing Danube ports.

� It addresses the Priority Project Nr. 18 “Waterway axis Rhine/Meuse-Main-

Danube” of the TEN-T network.

� The overall objective of the project is to turn the port of Giurgiu into the first

“Green Danube Port”.
