2001: Trinnov Audio, High Spatial Resolution Trinnov Audio founders design the first 3D High Spatial Resolution 3D Audio chain. (Recording, Processing and Reproduction) based on High-Order Ambisonics.
2003: Trinnov Audio releases its first scientific paper, wins the French Research Ministry’s national Innovative Business creation competition and starts research on Acoustic Correction.
2001-2005: FOUNDATIONS
2005: Trinnov Audio introduces the first Optimizer processor at the 119th AES Convention. Arnaud Laborie co-organizes a workshop on 3D Sound with Kimio Hamazaki (NHK). The first Auro (2+2+2) format is introduced during that workshop. From 2005 onwards, Trinnov Audio will continuously collaborate and provide the best 3D Sound research laboratories with Loudspeaker/Optimization processors (McGill, NHK, Technicolor, France Televisions…)
FOUNDATIONS
2005: Trinnov Audio starts considering licensing its cutting-edge technology Optimizer to High-End and Consumer manufacturers.
From 2006 onwards: Trinnov Audio starts addressing the pro audio market and steps into the film post-production industry with premium customers such as Fox Studios, Cine Plus, Technicolor or Cinephase.
2005-2010: COMMERCIAL
DEVELOPMENT
Trinnov Audio collaborates with the renown home cinema installer Keith Yates in the USA for world-class projects involving 22 speakers.
2008: First licensed product The Sherwood R972 AV Receiver is released at the CES.

DEVELOPMENT2010: ImmSound installs 30 screens with 3D object-based audio reproduced on 24 speakers using Trinnov Optimization processors.
In 2012, ImmSound is purchased by Dolby and integrated in the Dolby Atmos program.

2011: New hardware platform – Trinnov Audio starts manufacturing its own audio platform based on a modular high performance architecture.
Starting from Pro Audio, Trinnov, in quick succession, unveils dedicated products for the Hi-Fi market and embraces Digital Cinema by providing cinemas networks with state-of-the-art audio processors. Trinnov addresses the complete cinema audio production chain, from production to blu-ray authoring until the cinema customer.

2011: First OEM Product – The American manufacturer ADA releases the TEQ4, TEQ8 and TEQ12 stand-alone room correction units, featuring Trinnov technology.
2013: First dedicated home theater product – Trinnov Audio releases the Magnitude32, a stand-alone room correction unit scalable from 8 to 32 channels.

September 2014: First 32-Channel Dolby Atmos Trinnov Audio launches the Altitude32, the only 3D AV Preamplifier able to deliver 32 discrete channels with Dolby Atmos. This performance is still unmatched (12 max).

A significant amount of music titles will be remastered in Atmos or Auro-3D in that room.
