The central concourse area is very safe for all individuals

Transport

Active transport in promoting a healthy environment

Bike racks around campus

Access of public transport is easy and readily available

Food Facilities

Generally fast food is readily available and cheap

Healthier options are available but a little bit more costly

Microwaves available to warm food up – promoting home

packed meals

Fruit and salads available on request

Places to meet and socialize

Outdoor meeting and sitting areas

Large range of seating areas available – indoors and

outdoors

Pleasant look and welcoming

Comfortable environment

How does the environment

support students being healthy?

No Smoking signs around the campus

Drinking water fountains

Healthy food available for students to purchase

Promote physical activity

Provision of bike racks

Improvements

Add more shade to protect from the sun exposure

Offer more healthier options with food

Sell water

Have more activities for the students to interact with each

other and students from other faculties

More disability friendly areas and access (ramps and

toilets)
