Healing Fungus and Parasite Infection - The Absolute Essentials

By Paul Chek, Holistic Health Practitioner Founder, C.H.E.K Institute

Learning Objectives 1.  Define what a parasite is. 2.  Review the 4 classes of parasites that infect human

beings and common symptoms of infection. 3.  Explore common reasons people get fungal and

parasite infections. 4.  Review food choices as an essential first step to the

prevention and treatment of fungal and parasite infections.

Learning Objective 1

1.  Define what a parasite is.

What is a Parasite?

•  An organism that lives on, or in a host organism and draws its nourishment therefrom.

•  There are potentially millions parasitic organisms on earth; human beings are the most parasitic organisms of them all!

Do you have parasites right now? •  YES! •  The average human being is composed of ~ 100 trillion

cells. •  Some researchers suggest that of the 100 trillion cells

of our body, about 90 trillion are parasites…bacteria, fungi, viruses and other creatures! A healthy body has a symbiotic relationship with such organisms.

•  Don’t pick a fight with your bugs. You are out-numbered 9:1! Effective gardening is the answer.

How many infect humans?

•  Between 400-1000 are known to infect humans; infection meaning they are no longer symbiotic, but problematic. –  See, “Healing With Whole Foods” by Paul Pitchford for more

information.

– Typically, physicians only test for about 10-12 of them! Though electro-diagnostics do cover broader ranges of parasites in testing, many parasites elude detection

Learning Objective 2

2.  Review the 4 classes of parasites that infect human beings and common symptoms of infection.

4 Classes of Parasites

1.  Protozoa: microscopic organisms that travel in the blood stream to all parts of the body

2.  Trematoda: Flukes that range from 1-2.5cm

3.  Cestoda: Tapeworms; can measure up to 12 m!

4.  Nematoda: Pin, hook & round worms from .2-35 cm long; commonly transmitted by children

The Liver Fluke starts out in your small intestine and migrates to

your liver/ball bladder. Note inflammation and scaring!

Ascaris is one of the largest and most common parasites found in humans. The adult females of this species can measure up to 18 inches long (males are generally shorter), and it is estimated that 25% of the world’s population is infected with this parasite.

Symptoms Of Parasite Infestation •  Constipation/diarrhea •  Digestive disorders •  Irritability/nervousness •  Irritable bowel syndrome •  Persistent skin problems •  Gruanulomas (tumor like parasite

encasements) •  Sugar cravings •  Ravenous appetite •  Allergies/intolerances •  Nasal itching/picking •  Coin size blotches on face

–  Skin eruptions/markings

•  Fungal infections •  Overall fatigue •  Disturbed sleep

(night sweats, fretful) •  Anemia •  Muscle cramps •  Joint pains •  Post nasal drip •  Bruxism •  Prostatitis •  Bluish specs in whites of eyes •  Craving dirt, clay, raw rice, dried foods,

charcoal/burned food

Fungal Infections

•  Mycotoxins are capable of modulating your immune system, becoming stealth invaders to any body tissue! –  They can disrupt key immune

regulatory cycles and communications, allowing all parasites to proliferate!

Fungal Infections

•  Examples of fungal infections: –  Ringworm –  Candida (Often on skin and mucus membranes) –  BPH (PSA antigen…) –  Athlete’s foot –  Jock itch –  Thrush (vaginal yeast) –  Dandruff –  Leaky gut syndrome via fungal infection

Symptoms Of Fungal Infection •  Skin itching and eruptions •  Pimples that don’t clear •  Food cravings (sweets and

starches are common) •  Blood sugar disruption •  Fatigue •  Mental cloudiness •  Joint aches and popping •  Constipation •  Alternating hard and soft stools

Learning Objective 3

3.  Explore common reasons people get fungal and parasite infections.

Why The Rise In Fungal and Parasite Infections?

Increased (Total) Stress Load! •  Environmental stress •  Money stresses •  Relationship and Job stresses •  Fear of…(marketing) •  Food stress:

–  Processed foods –  Poor food quality –  Food chemicals…

•  Not living in accordance with the 6 Foundation Principles of CHEK Holistic Living!

•  Overuse of medical drugs! –  Avoiding the behavioral changes that

lead to fatigue, illness and disease •  Overuse of antibiotics in humans and

animals! –  Friendly bacteria in and on the human

body compete for territory with fungi •  Dangerously excessive hygiene –

antimicrobial soaps = barrier disruption!

Why The Rise In Fungal and Parasite Infections?

A GLOBAL PROBLEM! •  Poisoning of soils, water and food

supplies

•  Poisoning of animals and abuse of veterinary drugs; many of which are the same drugs used for humans. This leads to adaptation by fungi and parasites rendering drugs ineffective!

•  Decreased vitality and immunity opens the door to infections of all sorts!

Learning Objectives 4.  Review food choices as an essential first step to

the prevention and treatment of fungal and parasite infections.

Food Quality and Parasite Infection

Arden Anderson, D.O. International Farming Consultant and Aerospace Medicine Physician USAF: We have observed that when the soil is balanced more like it should be and the pasture grass is subsequently more nutritious with higher brix (carbohydrate) readings, that grazing cattle do not get sick, do not have parasite problems and do not need the extensive deworming and delousing as do animals on typical poor pasture and feedlot diets. Our immune system definitely has a defensive reaction when we have parasites if nothing other than eosiniphilic cationic (+) protein production, reflecting inflammation. I feel that we would be free of parasites if we truly had the nutrition our bodies needed to be perfectly healthy.

Impersonating Food and Nutrition!

•  Synthetic vitamins, food colorings, preservatives and additives and denatured fats, proteins and pesticide residues are random and radical linear inputs, creating chaos in our systems!

•  Parasites are decomposers; they come to decompose what you can’t digest and eliminate!

Organic Foods = Harmonic Input

If You Want A Healthy Immune System…

1.  Eat right for you Primal Pattern® Diet type; your individual needs:

1.  Use nutritious sources for sugars! 2.  Don’t over, or under-eat. 3.  Use symptoms to guide food choices and ratios.

2.  Eat as much organic food as possible 3.  Drink at ½ B.W. in oz. of clean water daily. 4.  Don’t skip meals our of complacency 5.  Keep your digestive system healthy!

If You Want A Healthy Immune System…

6.  Rotation dieting: –  Keep a wide variety of foods in your diet!

–  Begin with a Training Rotation Diet

–  Progress to (strict) therapeutic rotation diets as needed

7.  Avoid the 4 White Devils: 1. Pasteurized dairy 2. White flowers 3. Processed sugar, and 4. Sodium chloride (commercial salt).

You Are What You Eat!

•  Developing a functional base of knowledge about how to shop, store food, use food intelligently and understand food risks is essential for eliminating and preventing parasites!

CONCLUSION

•  Parasites and fungi are ubiquitous in nature. They are a balancing force in nature and are here to serve us in creating “awareness” so we can live in harmony with nature and each other.

•  Managing stressors is the most effective means of optimizing health and minimizing parasite and fungal infections.

CONCLUSION

•  The 6 Foundation Principles are the ESSENTIAL stress management categories: yin/female: yang/male: – Nutrition - Breathing – Hydration - Thinking – Sleep - Movement
