Hall C KPP
1.Detector running for 8 hours recording data from all subsystems.
2.Screenshots of beam status and/or accelerator e-log entries demonstrating electron beam current and energy.
3.Data showing relative timing of trigger, tracking, and particle identification in detector sybsystems.
4.Figures demonstrating charged-particle tracks from position-sensitive detectors.
5.Particle identification plots using signals from calorimetry and Cerenkov detectors.
Detector operational: events recorded with a > 2nA electron beam at > 6 GeV beam energy (3 pass).

Hall C KPP Run Plan (Overview)
• Beam Requirements: Energy: > 6 GeV/c Current: 5–10 μA Polarization: N/A
• SHMS Settings: Angle: 15° Momentum: 6 GeV/c
• Initial Steer-up: <ATLis 16570> Goals:
Establish beam to Dump with SHMS magnets at production settings.
Snapshots results to satisfy KPP2
• Initial Hall C Beamline, Raster, Instrument. Checkout Goals:

Hall C KPP Run Plan (Overview)• Initial Hall C Beamline, Raster, Instr. Checkout (cont...)
DAQs are running; Solid target in place (BeO, C) Online shift-crew will proceed with checkout procedure while
dedicated Offline shift-crew will use data to satisfy KPP 3, 4, 5 (detector timing, energy tracks, PID from SHMS systems)
Procedure (rough bullets): View beam on BeO target; log target cam snapshot Image Carbon-Hole target with rastered beam and raw SHMS
triggers (tuned track reconstruction not required.)
• Begin Detector Checkout and Spect. Optics Program Goals:
Continued data taking on target... Offline shift-crew will use data to satisfy KPP 3, 4, 5
(if not already accomplished) At 8 hours of accumulated data, log KPP 1 completed
