Street Art

What is street art? Art in a public place. This art is meant to be for the entire community, to make a statement or simply beautify the space.

What is included in street art? Stickers, tags, spraypaint, stencils, paper, markers, even mosaics.

Graffiti – Usually illegal street art

Graffiti

Q:Why do people do graffiti? A:Many reasons. Sometimes to go

“city wide” for reputation (to have your graffiti in every part of the city), to make a statement about life, or sometimes just to make people stop and look.

Most is done quickly, because it is usually illegal.
