Spelling!2nd Lesson: Homophones

Homophones are… words that are pronounced the same but have different meanings.

The words may be spelled the same the same, such as rose (flower) and rose (past tense of "rise"), or differently, such as rays (of sunshine) and raise (lift something up).

There is no trick for remembering them, other than listening to them in a sentence and figuring out the meaning!
