Hereatbrainstrustwe’vebeenworkingtirelesslywiththehelpofourfantasticvolunteerssearchinghighandlowforuseful,localservicesforpeopleaffectedbyabraintumour.Thisdirectory,focusingonthecharitysector,includesinformationonsomeofthebestoftheseservicesinGlasgow.Wehopeyoufindittobeanauthoritativeguideandthatithelpsyouaccesstheseresourcesinyourareaquicklyandwhenyoumostneedthem.

The essence of networking is to share experiential sympathy and understanding which can be beyond the scope of health care professionals. Itisimportanttobeawarethatwhilstnetworkingeventscanbeasourceofexcellentinformation,theyaremuchmore‘free-flowing’thanfacilitatedsupportgroups.Thediscussionisnotcontrolled,opinionscanbesubjective,andtheymaynotconstitutemedicaladvice.
