During Toy Shop Mystery, campers solved a forensic mystery each morning and later engineered a solution to fix the daily engineering challenge. Campers discovered how forensic entomologists classify butterflies, designed lean manufacturing systems to automate manufacturing, and used physical evidence--hair and fiber, soil pH and tire tracks, and lip printing--analysis to identify a suspect. Additionally, they designed toy prototypes, created meaningful storyboards to promote these creations, then edited professional-grade animated commercials for their innovations.
